The Transguinean is a national infrastructure of major importance to Guinea. The railway will cross the entire country, from south east to northwest, with a branch line from east to west, ending at a new deep water port located close to Conakry. The project is fundamental to the socio-economic development of the country, in particular for the exploitation of rich deposits of iron ore and bauxite throughout the country.

Maximum speed: 60 km/h towards the port & 70 km/h towards the mines

Transport of iron ore: 7 trains/day composed by 120 wagons of 100 tons capacity each.

Transport of bauxite: 6 trains per day composed by 120 wagons of 60 tons capacity.
Line capacity: Up to 60 million tons/year.
Services provided: Full Consultancy services provided to the Client, including Supervision of design, tender procedures, construction, supply of rolling stock and plants.
